Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Hannah Green. Just wrapped up a third place finish at the AmazingCre Portland Classic. Came on strong there at the end. Just a little bit short. Overall though, how satisfied are you with how you played this week?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I'm proud of myself to shoot a low one on the back nine. I guess even the par on the last to keep myself in it.
Not going to lie, I saw the leaderboard and I really didn't want to finish tied seventh, so I guess that gave me some extra motivation.
Yeah, I guess it really shows when you're enjoying yourself and the golf course, what it can do.
Q. That is interesting. Golf, it's a game, but it's also being out there and making sure you're in a good mental space. What is it about this place that brings it out in you?
HANNAH GREEN: I don't know if it's the people that come and follow or the golf course. I think it's a combination of both.
I think because I've had a good result and I've returned to the place I can think about the great memories. As where when I went KPMG, obviously Hazeltine, isn't the normal rotation. So I think that helps.
But, yeah, you have to have everything going with your game. Even though today it wasn't quite good enough, still happy with how things are trending.
Q. How impressed are you with the young players we have out here? So many young newer faces out here that was you a couple years ago. How impressed are you with the younger players?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, it's great. I played with Andrea last week. She told me she actually wasn't planning on playing Portland, so I'm really glad she has.
Even play with Esther today, she came off really strong and backed it up on the back nine. It's great to see so many different people winning each week. Yeah, it makes it harder for us, but it also makes exciting golf.
Q. Wouldn't want to be boring out here, right?
HANNAH GREEN: No. I think that's why we play golf, because it is so thrilling. Yeah, I was saying to someone earlier I don't think I could just play the same course, even if I loved it a lot. I think that's why I love my job. We get to go to a new venue and unfortunately test ourselves.
Q. There is a bit of that out there. The next venue is your own bed in Australia. How excited are you to get on that plane and when will we see you next?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, everyone was like, you seem so much happier. Yeah, because I'm going home. Yeah, I'm super excited.
I'll be home for I think only ten days. I'm coming back for MEDIHEAL in California and also in Korea, so not too long. I'll be back soon.
Q. So all that flight for ten days still worth it?
HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, after eight weeks, it's worth it.
Q. All right. Go and enjoy the sausage rolls.
HANNAH GREEN: Thank you.
