Q. You said on court it was an almost perfect performance. What were you most happy with today?

BOTIC VAN de ZANDSCHULP: Yeah, I think I served pretty well. In the rallies I think I always made the right choice by playing aggressive or coming to the net or playing defensive.

Yeah, almost every shot was the right one. Yeah, I was happy with that one.

Q. At the start of the week the captain said The Netherlands were maybe the third team here. You're on the verge of potentially going to Malaga. What has been his message this week?

BOTIC VAN de ZANDSCHULP: Yeah, his message has been like we have a chance against everyone, we can win against every team, but we can lose against every team. It's quite close, I think.

But, yeah, from the first match on against Kazakhstan, I think we started well. Today we did the same. So hopefully we can win the doubles here.

Q. Looking ahead to tomorrow, likely showdown with Taylor Fritz. I think you've only played him in doubles.

BOTIC VAN de ZANDSCHULP: Yeah, I played him twice in doubles.

Q. What are you expecting tomorrow?

BOTIC VAN de ZANDSCHULP: He's serving well. Hitting the ball well from the baseline. Yeah, can hit winners from everywhere I think. Yeah, it's going to be a good match.
