THE MODERATOR: Borna, your take about this match. Did you expect him to play that well? Are you not happy with your level? Is there anything else you feel like you could have done?

BORNA GOJO: Yeah, again, I think he played well. Credit to him. Played a good match. I'm struggling a lot with these courts. Never played on, like, courts that give you nothing. They're really slow.

I mean, I'm struggling. Obviously I'm not happy with myself. But I gave a full effort. Yeah, could have taken the second set probably, but just didn't work out.

Yeah, I'm just hoping Borna can win and the doubles can pull it off so we're still in the position to maybe go through.

THE MODERATOR: Do you think these conditions suit him better, Elias, or he played in a way that you didn't see him play before?

BORNA GOJO: Well, he can only say how he likes the courts. But I think, I mean, I can say for myself that it's just not good conditions for me. I'm not able to play my game the way I want to. So it makes it easier for him to play against me because I'm serving 230 kilometers per hour, and people are hitting off. Like I've never seen that in my life. It's just too good. I don't know what to say.

THE MODERATOR: Questions.

Q. I know you are a football lover. Is there any Italian team that you love? What is your opinion about Berrettini, Musetti, and Sinner?

BORNA GOJO: Yeah, I mean, I like Hajduk Split. In Italy I like to watch, like, Serie A. I have my team in my country and that's it.

Yeah, Sinner, Berrettini, Musetti, I mean, good for you guys. It's a great team. You can for sure expect a lot from them. I wish you good luck. Hopefully they can bring some joy to Italy, right?

Yeah, good luck to them. Obviously they beat us yesterday. I hope we can still go through the group. Maybe if we meet later on, I still think we can beat you guys. If we don't, yeah, all the best.

Q. When I was a kid, usually I saw Hajduk for football and Jugoplastika for basket. Do you remember?

BORNA GOJO: Yeah.

Q. Do you like basketball?

BORNA GOJO: Yeah, I love basketball. Yeah, Jugoplastika, the only team in history to win three times European Cup. Very proud of that. Very proud of my city and my country obviously. It's why I like playing for Croatia so much.

Unfortunately right now the basketball in Croatia is struggling. Even Jugoplastika is now Basketball Club Split. It's struggling. But we're always hoping to get back on the track of better and better days in history to bring them back now.

So, yeah, always positive, always supporting my local teams.
