THE MODERATOR: Questions in English.

Q. Captain Sergi, a perfect start, three wins on the opening day for you here. How pleased are you? Obviously last year you needed to win as many matches as possible. It all went down to a countback at last year's finals. So was the message today win all three matches today, get that perfect start?

CAPTAIN BRUGUERA: Yeah, the true is we won 3-0. It was very difficult, especially the two singles. Was very close, both. We are very happy and delighted with our first victory, 3-0. Was tough, and we are very happy with that.

Q. Marcel, can you talk about the atmosphere today? The crowd was obviously in full voice. How much does that help you to lift your game and for the team to really perform?

MARCEL GRANOLLERS: Yeah, of course. Always to play at home is very helpful for us, and for the last two, three years we are playing many ties at home. For us, with doubles, it's very nice to see people watching that late our match.

So very, very happy how we played today.

Q. Sergi, both Roberto and Albert said it wasn't just the crowd that made a difference, it was you on the bench, it was your support, what you were saying to them. Can you give us an idea of the sort of thing, your style of captaincy, what you say to the players?

CAPTAIN BRUGUERA: Well, it's difficult to say what happened inside, because it was so much things. But was completely different story with Albert, the strategy, the mentality and what was happening on the match, was completely different than what happened with Roberto. Was different things to say, different ways to approach the match.

I'm very happy that I could help. That's what I'm there for. You know, the truth is that it's very lucky that I can be on the seat, because then sometimes from outside you can say few things and it's helps. But if you are there, you can talk more, because some issues or something that has happened, it requires more time to explain, you know.

Then it's good that we have this event that the coach is there to help. So I'm happy I help today (smiling).
