Q. Nice round, Hannah. Another fabulous round here on this golf course that you've played so well in the past. How much do you take from what you done in the past into this tournament?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I think it's a big factor to why I played well today. Made a bogey on the third hole and missed a short four-foot putt and holed a nice 20-footer on the next hole.

So just like seeing them go in gives me confidence in knowing what I achieved here. Yeah, it is a great start. Unfortunate with bogey on the last, but I'm still really pleased with a 6-under.

Q. As you said off to good to start. How important is that then on a golf course knowing that scores can be quite low here?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I guess with the weather that they've had here in Portland they tried to protect the course and keep it as soft as possible.

I think scoring is going to be really low. I'm quite surprised that I'm tied at 6-under. I thought there would've been some lower scores.

Again, you have to hit the shots and hole the putts, so hopefully it holds up.

Q. Nelly also had a good round today. How much momentum does that help you with in the group if somebody else is playing well?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, definitely. I think we were feeding off each other. I think Marina probably felt a little bit left out even though she played good and shot 1-under.

It was really nice playing with Nelly. She's super good player. Same with Marina. Just really nice to get out there and get done this morning.

Q. Little birdie tells us you're heading back to Australia after this. How nice is it to know you'll be going home after this to see family and friends?

HANNAH GREEN: Yeah, I think that's part of the reason why I'm so happy to be out on the golf course. I haven't played four tournaments in a row in a while, but I wouldn't miss this stop for anything.

Yeah, to be able to go home and even go down the road to an Aussie cafe this afternoon for lunch, I'm pretty happy.

Q. Enjoy that. What are you going to have there?

HANNAH GREEN: I don't know. I thought about sausage rolls, so we'll see.

Q. No meat pies?

HANNAH GREEN: No. Unfortunately they don't do any. I'll have to wait until next week.
