Team Sweden
Press Conference
M. YMER/D. Schwartzman
6-2, 6-2
Sweden - 2
Argentina - 0
THE MODERATOR: How proud are you and how happy are you with the level you displayed today?
MIKAEL YMER: Very, very happy. Did what I have to do. I did it very good. I think that paid off.
THE MODERATOR: How was it to almost getting ready at 5-2 with your brother's first match and then pushing to the tiebreak? Did it affect in any way your warmup or preparation for your match?
MIKAEL YMER: Yeah, it did a little bit. I usually don't like to watch my brother normally, in singles events, too. Obviously I want him to win so badly and it takes a lot of energy.
But it looked like he needed some push, so I made an exception today. I hope it helped.
THE MODERATOR: How do you see Swedish chances now after a good start against Argentina?
MIKAEL YMER: I'd like to try to not look too far ahead, so I'm going to enjoy this tonight, then I'm not sure if we play Croatia or Italy next. But whoever we play next, I'm just going to try to focus on that specific task and not look too far ahead.
