Q. All right, you just saw, second place, but still an amazing, incredible final round to get there. You admitted yesterday that there was going to be a change in your game plan. How do you think that fared, and what was that like for you?

XIYU LIN: Well, I think I stick with my game plan. I was going very aggressive from the first hole, and, you know, like I normally don't set a goal, but I thought, I really thought today with a 6-under round I will be pretty close.

It turns out I shot 7-under and still lost by one. It just like this is LPGA. Like the girls are really good out here. I mean, Ally play absolutely amazing, especially her back nine. It's incredible.

Q. What was it like to go toe to toe with her today in the group?

XIYU LIN: I mean, it was all right. She's a really nice person overall, so I always enjoy -- it was actually my first time playing with her in Evian, but I just enjoy every round I play with her and every talk I have with her.

She is just really nice girl and we are like -- I guess we cheer each other up. So does Maria. You know, we had the game face on, but in between shot I think we chat a lot and it was very pleasant.

Q. For you, what was it like being in contention again? Had the shades of Honda LPGA Thailand. To see your name up there, how much confidence does that give you heading into the rest of the season?

XIYU LIN: It proves again to myself that I could have done it. I mean, like I said, I'm going to keep trying, but every time even I haven't like -- each of the time I haven't get it I'm getting closer and I have some lesson learned. More time I experience, I guess like more experience I'm going to get, and then it's just going to benefit the future.

So, you know, it's always great. It's so much fun playing the last group.
