Q. Tell us what your preparation has been like for this tournament.

XIYU LIN: Well, I had a good week last week so my confident is pretty high up there. Yeah, unfortunately the first two days the weather wasn't cooperating, so I only got to play nine holes.

Also Tuesday I walked 18 on the cart path with my caddie. But like today, I mean, overall I'm just first feel really lucky we actually get to play here.

Today like the green, I mean, after those many rains and then the green was actually rolling like really, really, really good and I made lots of putt.

I mean, it's overall a really good day.

Q. You seem to be popping up on our leaderboards quite a lot with some really low numbers. Do you feel like your game has been trending in this direction?

XIYU LIN: Yeah, for sure, because, I mean, this year I've been trying to chase my first win on tour. I've been close.

So, you know, before Canada I think I had two weeks off at home and then my coach and I was like talking about the rest couple tournament of the year.

Kind of regroup and started like trying to do that again. So, yeah, I'm happy with how I'm playing right now.
