Q. All right, here with Gaby Lopez. Kind of a crazy scorecard out there. Quite a few birdies; couple of bogeys. Walk me through your round.

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, you know, the beginning was very sloppy. I feel that my concentration and my focus wasn't there. It was probably more in the score.

But, yeah, I was able to relax out there. I knew I was playing great. I hit a bunch of greens. My wedge play has been impeccable.

So, yeah, just wanted to be free out there and to be able that make as many birdies as we can.

Q. You freed up on the back nine, which is the front nine today. Just what, four birdies in the last six? What did you find that was letting you go low?

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, I made a three-putt on the par-5 and that got me really, really mad. You know, I guess I told -- my caddie said, hey, you don't need to be 4-under through nine to score well. Like you can make a great down the stretch a lot of birdies.

So honestly, that was what kind of kept me relaxed. I was like, you know what? There is a bunch the opportunities. Just relax; you have been playing great.

Q. Obviously won last week. Back at it this week. Good to follow it up with a low round, I would think.

GABY LOPEZ: Yeah, no, very happy for that. You know, it's really hard to come low after such a great weekend, past weekend. I mean, I shot 13-under in two days, and coming off a little bit like nerves and stress and I think also tiredness, I haven't slept very well the last couple nights.

But I'm looking forward for a late tee time tomorrow.

Q. You always go and speak to the maintenance staff. They were here at 2:00 a.m. getting this place ready. Were you surprised at how good it was given how was it yesterday?

GABY LOPEZ: I'm very surprised. I'm actually going to talk to them this week just because they have done an amazing job.

Honestly, the golf course, it looks like nothing happened. The greens are rolling super fast for the amount of water we've had. They're rolling pure. The ball is going exactly where you want it to go.

Yeah, they deserve a big round of applause.
