Q. Tony, congratulations. You're the sixth automatic qualifier for the U.S. Team of the 2022 Presidents Cup. Can you share some thoughts on it being official and you making the team.

TONY FINAU: Yeah, it's quite cool. It's my first team I've made by points. A couple times I finished seventh or eighth right when they moved it to six picks. Officially my first time making it by points. It was a goal of mine to start the season, and when I finished playing in Melbourne, it was a goal of mine to make the next team at home, and to be able to do it by points I think is pretty special for me.

Proud of the work that I've done this second half to push myself over the top to make the team.

Q. Can you talk about playing for Davis and going to Quail Hollow Club. I think it's going to be special for the U.S. Team and that's a good location for Davis to be captaining. Just thoughts on playing for him and your teammates?

TONY FINAU: Yeah, very much looking forward to having Davis as a captain. Gotten to know him over the years in those team rooms, and him and his wife Robin have been amazing to my wife and I. Just looking forward to meshing with the team. It's something that I look forward to when I have the opportunity to play on these teams, the camaraderie we get. To play for someone like Davis with the history that he has, I think the great track record, I think he's a great leader and someone I'm looking forward to playing for.
