Q. Going back to East Lake I think for the third time. Just your thoughts on going back to the TOUR Championship again.

COREY CONNERS: Yeah, it's really exciting. It's always a goal at the start of the year. I feel like I've had a solid season. Still trying to get in the winner's circle again, but a lot of really solid play, giving myself some chances, and really excited to be going back to East Lake.

Q. Another big accomplishment for you, you're going to be on your first Presidents Cup team. How excited are you for that, to be able to play for Captain Immelman at Quail Hollow?

COREY CONNERS: Yeah, it's going to be incredible. Again, another huge goal of mine after missing out last time. Beyond excited.

I think Trevor has been great trying to get the guys together, and he's a great captain. Easy guy to get behind and really motivating.

I'm really excited for the opportunity, and going to be a lot of fun in a few weeks.

Q. What's he been telling you during the process here as you were trying to make the team and how he sees the team coming together?

COREY CONNERS: Yeah, I think I've been on his radar for quite a while. He's been very complimentary of my game, just telling me to keep doing what I'm doing. That's worked out okay.

Yeah, just excited. He's been great, really motivating, and just a great guy to have cheering you on.

Q. What do you feel like you bring to the team not only as a golfer but also maybe in the team room?

COREY CONNERS: Yeah, I'm pretty quiet, I guess. I'll be a rookie, but I'll try and be one of the leaders on the team, lead more by example, and hopefully play some good golf and let that take care of things.
