Quick Quotes
Q. Start the day three shots back and now you're tied for the lead. Can you just give you an overall assessment of the day.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I mean, I think a little bit disappointed, to be honest, of my round. I had a really sure front nine. I was very happy with that. And then back nine was really slow for me. Didn't really get anything going. Missed couple putts.
But, I mean, it was great birdie on the last and gives me a chance for tomorrow.
Q. Looked like a game of the two halves. Specifically what do you think the key differences were?
GEORGIA HALL: I mean, I was really steady front nine. Holed some really good putts. Eagle on the 9th helped as well. Pretty much a tap-in.
Back nine, the par-3s today, the pin positions were really tough and playing quite long. The wind got up a little bit, so I think it's a little bit harder on the back nine.
But still think I should have played a little bit better than that. Just need to do some practice now and get ready for tomorrow.
Q. Came back from a decent week at the AIG Women's Open. Any major understandably will take so much out of you mentally, physically. How are you feeling coming into this week?
GEORGIA HALL: Pretty good, to be honest. My fourth week in a row. Had the day off Monday and only saw nine holes on Massereene, so to shoot I think 3-under yesterday, ran up four, so I was quite happy with.
And I know more about this course and I think it suits me a little bit better, so I think it will be a fun day tomorrow.
Q. Overall relatively tight leaderboard.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, it is.
Q. What's the kind of key focus going into tomorrow? What's the mindset going to be?
GEORGIA HALL: Still the same: stay fairly aggressive. I think par-5s will be key because I reached I think nearly all of them. Even irons into some of them.
So just to try and get birdies to give me a head start would be good, and see where that leaves me.
Q. Great performance. How would you sum it up?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, it wasn't too bad. A little bit disappointed with my back nine today, but at least we're in a good position for tomorrow. Try and hole some more putts.
Yeah, excited for tomorrow. I think there are a lot of people out there, so see what happens.
Q. Yeah, it's a bit congested. Good place to be.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, definitely. That's where I want to be going into the last day. Hopefully weather like this tomorrow.
Apparently I don't think it is, so we'll see what happens. I think the course played very different yesterday. Yeah, just looking forward to it.
See what happens, yeah.
Q. Here in Ireland we don't know what it's going to be like. Here we are in 30 degrees. (Indiscernible.) Will that change your type of game that you might play tomorrow then if it is wetter type of day?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I heard it's supposed to be rain so the course is going to play a lot longer for sure, and it is already fairly soft in places. I think tougher conditions be tougher to make birdies, so I'll have to grind some holes out.
But I look forward it to it. A real challenge.
Q. Eagle on 9. Talk us through that.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, had a pretty good yardage into the hole, 220 or something, and hit 4-iron. Just used the bank to kind of -- the ball rolled back to the hole. It was pretty much a tap-in, three, four foot.
I mean, that's kind of the easiest eagle I could have had.
Q. You're talking it down completely. Tomorrow then be looking forward to having a good day.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, of course. It's where I want to be. I want to keep putting myself in pressure situations like this, in contention. The more I can I think I'm bound to come out on top here or there.
Exactly where I want to be. Yeah, I mean, I'm playing well.
Q. This evening, a bit of rest and get ready, prepared?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I think a little bit of putting and go for dinner somewhere, just chill out, get an early night.
