Quick Quotes
Q. Lee-Anne, incredible front nine today. What happened this morning?
LEE-ANNE PACE: Well, I've been working really hard on my putting in the last I'm going to say two, three weeks.
I never really in the past have, but I saw this guy, Henry, at the British and he really helped me, gave me something to think about.
So been putting a lot, and, yeah, paid off on the front nine definitely. I think on the back nine I think I put myself in difficult positions. I was long a lot or short, so putting was a bit more difficult.
Obviously three jab on 16 didn't help, but I'm playing well. I strike the ball well. Yeah, I think if I make a couple better decisions tomorrow I might still be in it.
Q. Is there anything this particular you've been doing with your practicing, with your putting, just like repetition or a change?
LEE-ANNE PACE: I have a tendency to come up on the putt, so I've really been focusing on just using my shoulders, just keeping it one unit. It's helped a lot, especially on the longer putts. I used to be a bit shorter, just miss-hitting them, and now they're all getting to the hole. Probably why they're going in.
Yeah, that's what I'm working on.
Q. How have you found this week in general? Obviously it's different playing the two courses first two days, but then being back here for the weekend.
LEE-ANNE PACE: Yeah, I think the two courses are definitely quite different from each other. The other one was I felt quite firm, and this one you can definitely pitch it on the green.
Some tough pins out there today. I'm surprised -- not surprised at the 6-under. I guess if you make the putts it's good. But the back nine had some tough pins.
Yeah, it's going to be interesting to see it tomorrow.
Q. And what are the plans for the rest of the day? Obviously the first of the afternoon groups in.
LEE-ANNE PACE: I'm about to go have a beer, and then I'm going home.
