Quick Quotes
Q. All right, John, after day two here, how are you feeling after two rounds at Galgorm and Massareene?
JOHN MURPHY: Good. Yeah, it was pretty tricky out there, to be honest. Didn't play well at all today, so nice to get it around in 1-under.
I think myself and my caddie did a pretty good job managing the game today.
So, yeah, going to go get some practice in and get ready to go tomorrow.
Q. Able to bring it in with two birdies in the last three holes. Just what was it able to close out on a string front like that?
JOHN MURPHY: Yeah, you know, I made a couple of frustrating bogeys there around the middle of my back nine. Obviously nice to -- I hit a lovely pitch into the 7th, the par-5. Would've been a frustrating par, but nice to, yeah, wrack in a couple on the way in and put myself in a good position going into tomorrow.
Q. What will you focus on as you head into the final two days, returning to Galgorm?
JOHN MURPHY: I played lovely there yesterday. I love the way it kind of -- I love the way I suppose it suits my eye. Yeah, kind of go back there now and get some practice in at Galgorm and hit some pace putts on the greens, because there is a bit of an adjustment between the two courses between how bouncy there are.
Yeah, going to go over there and get some work done.
Q. Got an Irish lass at the top of the leaderboard on the girls' side with Leona. What's it like to have her also on the women's side of the field for the first time?
JOHN MURPHY: Yeah, I saw that. You can kind of feel out there. It's great to see her having such a big following out there. Obviously there is a lot of people that look up to her. She's a role model for many around, so really cool to see.
Great to kind of -- I suppose I was only a few groups ahead of her so I could really kind of sense the atmosphere that she brought out here, and hopefully carry that into tomorrow.
