Q. 3-under today following on from some great work yesterday at Massareene. Talk me through the day.

BORJA VIRTO: Yeah, let me try to remember. Birdie on 10. Nice 3-wood. Nice up and down. Yeah, pretty solid.

Nice up and down on 11 for par.

Yeah, I played pretty good today as well. Same as yesterday. Like didn't get in too much trouble; gave myself some birdie chances. I've been hitting really nice putts; been making some.

And then, yeah, just (indiscernible) at the end on 7, the par-3. Kind of a bad decision. Also not the best shot in the water; made double.

But other than that, pretty good.

Then on, yeah, 9, really nice tee shot. That was a bit in between clubs. Just got it wrong, a bit past the hole.

Yeah, really happy with 3-under. Just keep it going.

Q. What's the preparation been like preparing for two different courses this week?

BORJA VIRTO: Yeah, it's been a bit longer than usual, but I played this event before a couple years ago and I played in Galgorm quite a few times for Challenge Tour, so I knew the course. There is a few changes, but I knew the course overall.

But, yeah, just a bit longer week just trying to adapt to two golf courses that are playing a bit different. It was nice to be done with Massareene yesterday and now focus on Galgorm from today.

So, yeah.

Q. Just tell me about your season. Obviously playing on the Challenge Tour. Had some great results so far.

BORJA VIRTO: Yeah.

Q. How pleased are you to bring that form into what is potentially a really big week?

BORJA VIRTO: Yeah, no, really happy about it. As you said, I've been playing pretty well on Challenge Tour the last few weeks. Had a couple Top 10s and a third place where I had kind of a chance to win, so it's nice.

I've been playing well. It's a bit different out here. Of course it's a bit more level; the courses are a bit tougher. But if I can keep up with that game, I think I'll be able to score and maybe have a chance to be in contention as well.

So yeah, I'm just happy that things are working out well.

Q. And nice this week as well. The points here also count on the Challenge Tour rankings.

BORJA VIRTO: Yeah.

Q. So something to play for.

BORJA VIRTO: Yeah, that's quite big actually. I like that a lot, because it's a good opportunity for us to come out here and play. Sometimes if the points don't count you kind of feel forced to stay on Challenge Tour.

You know, like my goal for the season is to be top 20 on the Challenge Tour and try to be here full season, right, so it's quite nice where we have the format where the points also count. Pretty happy about it.
