Quick Quotes
Q. 8-under overall after two days, one at Galgorm and one here. What were some of the differences between day one and day two for you?
PEIYUN CHIEN: I feel really lucky to play in the morning here, because in the afternoon would be very windy and the green very firm.
So when I play back nine it's already feel the green very firm. Even my 9-iron carry one more on 2. Roll like 18 yard, so it's pretty hard this afternoon I think.
Q. Yesterday you're back a couple holes at Galgorm. I know it was a bit of a grind for you. Putting that round aside, what did you do to mentally reset going into today?
PEIYUN CHIEN: My caddie say it's okay to finish -- not finish in the leader, because I will be a lot of pressure and do a lot of media.
So just okay. 3-under is not the best score, so we can just play better today, keep positive.
Q. Do you like the chasing aspect of chasing those at the top?
PEIYUN CHIEN: Not really.
Q. Really?
PEIYUN CHIEN: I feel a lot of pressure, but I'm learning, because if -- I don't sleep very well yesterday, but I still need to focus every shot.
I think I did very well today.
Q. Take me through some of the highlights of Massareene. What was working so well for you? Like the birdies you had out here that you remember.
PEIYUN CHIEN: Okay, yeah. I made every par-5 for birdie. That's pretty impressive. I had a lot of -- yeah, irons like 117, so it's just like perfect. My pitching wedge, just hit it, and I almost holed it, 15 almost holed it, yeah.
Pitching wedge I got three birdies, so pretty lucky.
Q. Have you felt this in your game coming with what you've been working on?
PEIYUN CHIEN: I've been working on with my mental more because always -- I'm always struggling with my swing, so I just give up to think about that way.
Just if my first move is okay, so everything will be fine.
Q. What will you take away from the last two days as you return to Galgorm tomorrow? What are you hoping to carry with you that you have been doing well the past two rounds?
PEIYUN CHIEN: Definitely the par-5 for us. It's pretty short, so tomorrow I will try to make every par-5 birdie. That's my goal. Try it make it, but not push too much, yeah.
