Q. So quarterfinalist, how does that sound?

MONET CHUN: Pretty cool. It was pretty tight coming into match play even, so I'm pretty excited to be here.

Q. I know you came in here having just won a big event. How did that momentum help you so far?

MONET CHUN: It definitely helped me just knowing that I could hit the ball a bit better than before, and the putts seemed to be going in this week, so I'm pretty happy about that.

Q. What's been your experience with match play and what do you enjoy about match play on this course?

MONET CHUN: So I really do enjoy match play. I think that helps a little bit now. I played the North and South the last couple weeks ago and then played a couple match play events in Ontario, so that definitely did help. Then just this course, I think being able to use the slopes and making a couple putts is important.

Q. As a quarterfinalist you're exempt into next year. How nice is it to know that you have that and you won't have to qualify?

MONET CHUN: Yeah, no, that's super exciting. I'm not the great at the qualifiers. This is my first event actually, so I'm pretty excited about that.
