Q. I'm with Carmen Alonso after she shot a round of 3-under at Galgorm. You got off to a very good start today. Talk me through the opening three holes.

CARMEN ALONSO: Well, I played really good. I started obvious with birdie, birdie, birdie. It's a good start. Happy for the confidence in the beginning.

And then I think this golf course we're not used to playing in greens that there are so firm, so it's a little bit difficult, and if you're not on the fairway, it's also difficult because the rough is quite thick for us.

But obviously I have to say that I'm happy with my round sure keep going and we'll see.

Q. Finished with a birdie on 18 as well.

CARMEN ALONSO: Yes.

Q. Always a nice way to finish.

CARMEN ALONSO: Oh, yeah, of course. I hit that really good driver in the middle of the fairway and hit the 4-iron, really good 4-iron, because that green with the water on the left is not easy.

We made birdie, so happy. Keep going, this afternoon practice a little bit, and that's it.

Q. And you were telling me about something that happened yesterday. You got stung by a bee.

CARMEN ALONSO: Yes.

Q. During the practice.

CARMEN ALONSO: Well, I was on the driving range. I was doing a thing for Instagram, you know, because I'm not really good on Instagram, but my cousin that is doing my Instagram, she's trying to tell me, hey, you have to do videos.

So I was doing that stupid video and the bee bite me, and I said to Maria, you know, when I was young I was allergic to the bees, but I think now I'm okay. And this morning when I woke up my leg is completely red and it's okay. It's what it is when you are working in the golf course.

Q. So you say you're just going to practice a little bit now ahead of Massareene tomorrow?

CARMEN ALONSO: Yes. I'm going to try to practice a little bit my putt because, I don't know, maybe the greens are going to be a little bit slower over there.

So I'm going to try to practice that and to try to hit the ball a little bit better. Because Muirfield, because was really windy in the first round, my swing was any way.

So I'm trying to put the ball again in play and to do the things good.

Q. And how has it been correcting from the links of the last two weeks back to kind of target golf?

CARMEN ALONSO: Well, obviously we are in a target golf course, so we're used to more playing in this kind of golf courses. The links is another war.

But I think if you want to be a good player you have to play in all the courses really good. Obviously this golf course that is a target golf course is easier, but still difficult because the greens are really firm.

So it's another way. Every week is another way to play in the golf course, so keep going.
