Q. With Rosie Davies after her opening round of 4-under at Galgorm Castle. Bogey-free round today. How do you find the sunny conditions here this morning?

ROSIE DAVIES: Yeah, this morning it was a bit of dew on the ground, so the rough I thought was particularly difficult.

But, no, I played pretty lovely. On the front nine I made some really clutch par saves to keep the round going. I think I had six one-putts on the front nine.

Then, yeah, just holed some opportunities. Made a really long one. So, yeah, a bit disappointed because I missed a short one on 18 for 5-under.

We got three more days.

Q. And what would you say the best part of your game today was? The putting generally?

ROSIE DAVIES: Yeah, definitely my putting. I hit some really nice tee shots, but because of the doglegs here it always rolls into the rough. So actually my fairway stats are probably not that great, but my approach play was good. Yeah, putting, I just took my chances.

Q. And how are you finding this week with the two different courses? Obviously playing at Massareene tomorrow. How will you prepare for that?

ROSIE DAVIES: I think I've got physio and she's based over there, so I'm going to go over and putt and chip a little bit around there. I think it's a bit drier over there.

Yeah, be good to just go over there and see how the greens are reacting a little bit. Yeah, it's a good event.

Q. And you're having a really solid season, lots of consistent results. How have you been finding it?

ROSIE DAVIES: I've really enjoyed the season so far to be honest. I didn't really have much of a category at the start of the year. I got the last card at Q-School. Yeah, through being re-ranked I got into this event, and I'm just sort of loving it, just enjoying being here really.

Yeah, just making the most of it.
