Q. MVP in your home stadium, how does that feel?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: It's truly an honor. To be able to have a performance like this in front of the fans that support us every week has been a true honor.
Q. Adrian was talking about the opportunity to bounce back after the weekend. How much was that in your mindset and how much did you want to put on a show after that?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: Well, for sure it was definitely a performance I want to forget but it's always a little bit in the back of your mind, but knowing you have an opportunity in a game like this is a good opportunity to push that past me. And just kind of going forward and taking it game by game and going from there.
Q. What are some things that you learned about your teammates this week that you didn't know before this week?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: Yeah, great group of guys here. We've been so busy with everything going on, so I think the attitude has been really nice and like you said, you try to talk to guys but it was tough with how busy we were over the last few days.
But just seeing some the guys off the field and being teammates against them, sometimes you're playing against some guys, they are a little bit different than when you're teammates with them, and so that's been nice, and I'm sure they are probably saying the same thing about me.
Q. Would you describe where you are right now, from the beginning of the season and how it started, could you even have imagined hoisting that trophy at this point in the season?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: Definitely not, I don't think. I think I always knew that I was capable of putting in performances and getting to this stage.
But I think the way that it's happened with the way the season started for me has been accelerated and a bit of a roller coaster for sure, especially coming off of last week and to have an event like this and do well and have this trophy has been a nice thing to take a step forward again.
Q. Did it surprise you at all when they told you you won MVP, and what does it mean to get it here?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: Yeah, I was definitely a little bit surprised. There's so many good players on this team and on their team. And normally it's the guys that contribute to the goals get the award, but definitely very happy to be awarded for it. And like you said and being one of the hometown guys and to do it in front of our fans has been really special.
Q. Is this like, are you living a dream right now after all your high right now? And after this, burgers at Fhima's?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: Yeah, one of my teammates in Minnesota is hosting a fashion show, so I'll be heading over after to support him.
Like you said it's definitely been a little bit of a dream and it's a moment that I knew I was capable of, and to be rewarded with it has been really nice.
Q. When you go to the field, people shouting your name and talking about you like you are the center of the game at the moment, that helps you to do the performance that you did in the game?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: Yeah, for sure, I play here every week, so the fans definitely know me and they have supported me throughout the whole season. Since I joined the team, they have supported me.
So really, to be able to give a performance like that in an event like this in front of them has been nice. Like Adrian said, it's been no surprise that they showed up tonight because they show up every weekend.
Q. Where is the trophy going to go?
DAYNE ST. CLAIR: I have to find a spot for it for sure but probably on a ledge somewhere just to remind myself of what I'm capable of.
