Q. Tell us about your round. You were saying at the beginning of the week, you were used to this wind, the way you play in Australia and all that and you're proving it. Are you embracing the wind?
STEPH KYRIACOU: Yeah, it's windier than I expected. The practise rounds were so nice. Yeah, the wind is a bit tougher but that's links golf. It is like home but again, yeah, home is easier because you know the track and all that.
Q. A little colder here, too.
STEPH KYRIACOU: Yeah, way colder. I'm wearing three layers and I'm still freezing.
Q. Tell us about your round today. What went well?
STEPH KYRIACOU: Well, I started pretty good actually. I was like 3-under through five and I made a couple soft bogeys which kind of killed the momentum.
But I mean, I didn't make too many mistakes, and the back nine I find harder. So I just didn't give myself many close chances and had to scramble a bit more and just made a birdie on 17 and 1-under, pretty basic golf. Nothing too interesting.
Q. So for tomorrow, of course, doing the same thing, all these things, but kind of the mindset, seeing how things are going, will you be more aggressive?
STEPH KYRIACOU: Yeah, I will definitely be more aggressive. I'm a few shots back. I mean, it's not impossible but it's going to be harder. I think the only way to win is to be aggressive. You don't come here to come second place.
Q. Can you describe what "aggressive" means for you? How do you play?
STEPH KYRIACOU: Just like going for pretty much every pin that's not silly. Just backing myself, like what's the worst that could happen, I shoot 10-over, big whoop. Yeah, that's pretty much how it's going to be.
