Q. You shot a 1-under 70 today, two birdies and a bogey. Your caddie said it was steady. Tell us how you played?
MINJEE LEE: I gave myself quite a few birdie opportunities when I hit some good shots in, and then had plenty of putts, like 25 feet for birdie as well. I played really smart out there. I couldn't quite capitalise on my birdie opportunities, so hopefully they will all drop tomorrow.
Q. What I've heard from a lot of players, for such an old, time-tested course; it's a fair course.
MINJEE LEE: Yeah, I would say so. If one side is lined with bunkers and the other side is rough, you can play out of it at the moment. I think the course is really set up quite fair and the design of the course is actually rewarding when you play obviously to the safe side. I definitely think it's a very fair, challenging but fun course.
Q. What have you learned about the course over the last few days that you think you'll put into play this weekend?
MINJEE LEE: I think I thought it was going to be a bit more bouncier but obviously I played this morning, so it might have been a little bit more of the moisture hasn't dried out yet. But even yesterday afternoon it wasn't like too, too bouncy.
So I think maybe for the weekend, it will start to get bouncy. So maybe I'll be able to play a little bit more of the bounce come the weekend.
Q. And I've been hearing from a lot of the Aussie media back home how excited they are about how well you are playing. Are you aware of what's going on on the leaderboard and a major and all the things that come with it?
MINJEE LEE: I definitely know where I am on the leaderboard playing. I try not to think too much about the other stuff. I'm still the same person. I'm still going to, I hit a little white golf ball around a field. That's always been my mindset and whatever comes with it, I'm going to embrace it and be the best person that I can be, so, yeah.
