Q. You seemed to get around.
GEORGIA HALL: I played really steady. Played really well. Didn't take advantage of a couple of the par 5s which was really disappointing. I had some really good par putts, and it wasn't easy out there. So yeah, I'm quite happy with my start.
Q. Are conditions getting worse, would you say? The wind getting up?
GEORGIA HALL: No, I mean, I don't know. It's definitely worse. I don't know if it's calmer or not. The last couple holes weren't bad at all. We had a bit of rain the first few holes and then it brightened up and it was pretty good. I'm not sure what this afternoon brings but we'll see.
Q. Quite low scores. Are you surprised?
GEORGIA HALL: I think always there's going to be a few people that shoot 5-, 6-under on the first day but it's a very long four days out here, and with the weather, it is very easy to shoot -- to get a high number on a hole. So you know, yeah, for me to be in my position, I'm quite happy with, and see what tomorrow brings.
Q. Louise, a hell of a score, isn't it?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, it was a great score from her as well and it's nice to see her play well. I know she struggled a little bit this year, but obviously she really likes links golf and to be at home in Scotland, so very happy that she had a good score today.
Q. Was it fun out there? Can you call it fun?
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, definitely. I enjoy it the most out of any kind of course conditions or format or anything like that. I think it's a lot of fun and you always have to keep thinking on every shot. You can't stop for one minute, especially with the wind because it changes quite a bit.
Q. Your approach to 13, that seems to me like the sort of shot; you have to take the wind in.
GEORGIA HALL: Yeah, I kind of drew it against the wind so when it landed, it was spin straight. They tuck that pin quite close to that bunker there so it was really a bonus for me to get a birdie.
