Quick Quotes
Q. Here with Madelene Sagstrom, ties the round of the week with an 8-under 64 on Sunday. What did you see today that maybe you didn't see the first three rounds?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: I think I read the greens a lot better today. I think that I've been playing quite good tee-to-green I would say. A few loose drives, especially yesterday, but I think what made a big difference is that I was making the putts.
Q. I mean, you go out and shoot a round like that after three slow rounds, were you going for broke out there? What was the mindset?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: I think in general, it's bad to say, I'm here to prepare for next week, so you're here to get as much golf under your belt and just getting ready for that kind of style for next week. That was kind of my mindset.
I was a little frustrated yesterday but at the same time I was just trying to get momentum. I was trying to get in reps which I did. So I was just trying to keep cool and find that flow and I did that. Made a putt on the first hole and it went from there.
Q. Heading into the year's last major, what's the mindset and confident level?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: Obviously when you play well, confidence is high. I think confidence comes from good play. I believe in my game. I know I've been doing good things. I've traditionally not been the best links player until last year, so I think that I have done a lot of good things over the last few years and it's starting to pay off. The consistency is there. I'm just hoping to have those low rounds and I think I can do well.
