AYAKA FURUE: I played, read the wind well and hit good shot. Putted very well. I had a very good round.

AYAKA FURUE: I can't remember the birdies.

Q. You might get to play with Nasa tomorrow. How much fun would that be for you and her as you both look to chase down the title here in Scotland?

AYAKA FURUE: If I have a chance to play with her today, I would like to play well and shoot another under par and see what happens.

Q. You're going to be chasing heading into tomorrow. You've been near the top of the leaderboard before this season. What past experience will you draw upon as you look to hunt down the headers?

AYAKA FURUE: I haven't really been in the final before, in the hunt, but with my experience, winning in Japan, hopefully I can have that memory to play well tomorrow.
