Quick Quotes
Q. So, welcome back to Scotland. And also happy birthday. What a great round to have on your birthday. Can you just talk me through how you felt out there on the links.
MORIYA JUTANUGARN: I mean, it's just always fun to come back and play in Scotland. Like, you know, we only have a chance to play links like twice a year. And it's just, you know -- I very enjoy it.
The weather seems to be real friendly today, just get quite a heavy rain for like a bit, but after that we -- I mean, it's -- actually I expect like a lot more rain today, which is pretty lucky for us.
And other than that, like the wind is quite calm today. And it seems like a nice day. Couldn't ask for better.
Q. You've had some great finishes on links golf, and you came runner-up here a few years ago. What do you think you do to prepare for links golf, and is there anything that your game suits links golf?
MORIYA JUTANUGARN: I don't know. Just when you play link golf, you seem to play with more different shots, which is fun. Like you got to play with the wind, some rain. I just think like sometime you just have to be patient out there other than like trying to do anything. And I think that's how it's fun with the link golf.
And I don't know, I don't think I really prepare any different. But I just think I enjoy, too, like playing different shots and trying to stay away from the bunkers. I think that's more the point.
Q. Yeah, you talk about being prepared, but then in Scotland the weather can change like that. Do you think there's anything that you do, you can adjust to it quickly?
MORIYA JUTANUGARN: Not really. It's just more like you can't really be like really upset about the weather. You have to just take it and then be patient with it. You have to take what it is, pretty much, and then just kind of be calm with it.
Q. This is the second year of Trust Golf title sponsorships, 12 Thais in the field this week. And actually we were speaking to Wichanee earlier, and she was saying that you all planned a dinner. Is it nice to have so many Thai players and the Thai connection this week?
MORIYA JUTANUGARN: It's nice. We always have more and more Thai players on the LPGA, and especially like this week because of Trust Golf, we had even more Thai girls to play in the field.
And I think it's good for the next generation or like the young kids, too, to get chance to play in a big event, and also they see like a lot of players out here. So hopefully it could inspire them to -- for the future if they want to play out here.
Q. And you've played in this event for quite a few years. Do you think you've seen a difference in the way it's evolved over the last couple of years, with Trust Golf coming in?
MORIYA JUTANUGARN: I mean, it's nice to always have a good -- I mean a very, very friendly sponsor, especially Trust Golf is Thai owner as well. So it's kind of made me feel like the Thai golf could grow a lot more. And I think that's very good for the new generation. Yeah, I mean, I'm really happy with everything.
Q. And how are you going to celebrate your birthday tonight?
MORIYA JUTANUGARN: Well, it looks like the IMG team got the cake for me, and after that I just go back home, have dinner with my family and just get ready for tomorrow.
