Q. You had a chance right until the end there. How proud are you of your performance this afternoon?

THONGCHAI JAIDEE: I enjoyed it. We knew the condition is very tough. We started the front nine. The front nine we start very well but after rain, we have heavy rain. We couldn't control the ball. Some parts, you hit the wrong side of the fairway, you can make any two on.

But the greens getting soft, I think good chance on the back nine after rain delay. But 17 tried to get on the fairway but we had a bad lie in the rough. But make par from there.

18, the second shot, looked good but we hit the wrong side. We aiming the wrong side, the target. Very difficult bunker shot but good par, anyway.

I enjoy it. I enjoy very much this tournament. I know everyone here tried to win the tournament, but I really try today. But anyway, top five, top 10 for me is great. I'm very happy with that.

Q. What was going through your mind with that fast start?

THONGCHAI JAIDEE: I know the condition is going to be worse and the forecast is going to be very tough to play on the front nine but the wind direction is very hard to get into on the front nine. After rain stop, it's very good, on and off, and heavy on 15, 16. That's very heavy. Make the green flat and everything going down.

But everything is good. The competition, you can't say anything more. Tried to get win, but unfortunately I don't make any birdies at the last. I tried to make birdie at the last but par is okay.

Q. The chip was very close to going in.

THONGCHAI JAIDEE: Yeah, but we took a bit wrong side. Should be right-to-left but we aim straight. It's good up-and-down from there. But we have third shot, very bad from bunker. Wrong bunker. For my opinion, we don't get that bunker, better play from bunker, there would be more chance, but bad on the second shot. We aim at wrong target. But you know, it's okay. 8-under par and I'm happy with my performance.
