Q. Pretty exciting. Another major back to back.
LUCAS HERBERT: Yeah, it was good to get another good result. Obviously it wasn't quite my week to get up there somewhere near having a win. I thought I was good enough to be able to do that.
But played pretty solid golf. Played nice golf down the stretch. I was happy with the shots I was able to hit down the stretch. That was pretty satisfying.
Yeah, overall quite happy with where that finish is, probably 15th.
Q. Presidents Cup for you?
LUCAS HERBERT: Absolutely.
Q. Any indication from the skipper, you've got more time to get points?
LUCAS HERBERT: Only indication is I've got to play better. I'd be surprised if I got a pick as a first timer. Who knows? There's a bit of time left. Playoffs are still to come. I don't know when the cutoff is, but if I can play some good golf, get myself in there with a chance to make that team, I'd love to play.
Q. What's been the week like here? Pretty special?
LUCAS HERBERT: Very special. That walk we just did up 18 was very, very cool.
Q. Have you ever experienced anything close to that before? Obviously you played the Masters and that sort of stuff. How did that compare with the great experiences you've had?
LUCAS HERBERT: It's pretty hard to top that one, I think. Even Augusta, I think, is going to struggle to top that. An Open Championship is very special, but an Open Championship at St Andrews, especially with the golf course playing the way it was, it was a proper test of golf out there.
For it to show up like it did for us, give us that challenge, yeah. I'm hoping they come back here sooner than when I'm hearing reports that they will because this place is special. It's just a great place to play a major.
Q. Obviously talk about you've got a taste now. I imagine you want to come back and really contend.
LUCAS HERBERT: Absolutely. Absolutely, yeah. Every tournament I play, I want to come back and contend and win. Yeah, I'm starting to feel like I'm just starting to find my feet in the majors now. I'm feeling a bit more comfortable coming down the stretch. Not necessarily with a chance to win, but at least a chance to place up there pretty highly and get a good result. And I felt good about my game.
Q. What does your schedule look like the next little while?
LUCAS HERBERT: I've got some time off now and then the playoffs in the U.S. I haven't seen a schedule for the PGA TOUR, so I'm not 100 percent sure what I'll play. It looks like I'll get back to Australia at the end of the year, which will be a lot of fun.
