Quick Quotes
Q. Annika, can you sort of reflect on the week and going to the Senior LPGA next week and what you take away from this week going into next?
ANNIKA SORENSTAM: First of all, it's great to be here, great to play with Madelene. I love this format. We don't get a chance to play team, and actually I really don't play that much, so to play team was really fun.
I think this has been a great experience, great tournament. Dow, the way they support the LPGA is fantastic in this town. We felt so welcome. Everybody is friendly and happy. It's been a great golf course. I think it's exciting golf.
It's just great to be out here. I feel it's been a great week in a lot of ways. Haven't really thought about next week yet. I mean, I'm just one day at a time. As a matter of fact, I'm heading to Minnesota in between, so I'm sure my mind will be a little bit there first.
It's been great to be here. I've had a good time. Good memories. Look back fondly on this week.
Q. Madelene, heading into a major week, what have you learned from your partner here, legendary Annika, and what you're going to take away from this week into next?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: I think obviously it's a great warmup for a major. You play a little bit less golf than you might normally do, so it's been a lot of fun. We've been out there and we're both so competitive and trying to do the best we can.
So hoping for more momentum. We had momentum the first day, and then we hit a wall. We've been fighting hard. We haven't really left -- well, we left things out there, but we tried until the end, so it's just so much fun. You see the competitiveness of her. It's amazing.
Q. Any words of wisdom you get from her?
MADELENE SAGSTROM: I think what I've learned is that I have what it takes. I just need to remind myself of that sometimes and just continue to get out of my own way.
