Q. Tough day at the office?
DAVID LAW: Yeah, I played decent enough stuff on the front nine, actually, and got unlucky on 4, a bit unlucky on 6. And all of a sudden you're 4-over par on a day you feel you should be under par, you chase it a little bit and that's what happens. It is what it is. I didn't play as bad as shooting 5-over par. But obviously it's a tough setup, tough golf course and that's what happens.
Q. How did the conditions play today?
DAVID LAW: It was slightly different. The wind was just coming a fraction more from the south. It's actually caught us out a couple times. I think we're just so used to playing it the way it played, played west-southwest pretty much the whole time.
That's just what happens. As soon as you start to press and push out there, you come unstuck a little bit, and unfortunately that's what happened.
Q. Birdied 18, is it a positive note for you?
DAVID LAW: Nice way to finish. And I start feeling like I'm playing good. I can go out shoot a good one tomorrow and move right up.
Q. It's not a disaster, is it?
DAVID LAW: No. We're playing The Open. We're playing four days at The Open at St Andrews. It's good. So hopefully I play a good one tomorrow and we'll finish off on a positive note on a great week.
Q. You'll be able to walk about the town?
DAVID LAW: Yeah, I'm sure there won't be many people about at 12:00 in the afternoon. But it will be the start of the week probably, I suppose.
Q. The award would be 50,000 schillings?
DAVID LAW: We'll see.
