Q. The Fizzy Swedes, who Annika said, we were a little flat in the beginning and then we got fizzy towards the end. Annika, you accomplished just about everything in this game, but yet you said you were so excited to come here and tee it up with Madelene. Where does that excitement and energy come from?

ANNIKA SORENSTAM: Well, it's nice to be back out here on the LPGA. I never played this format. I really like this format, and, of course, playing with Madelene and it's a highlight. She's one of the upcoming stars and has done so well. We've been playing together a little bit in Orlando.

I have a great friendship with her, and to play together and to have the family here. Dow has been great to the LPGA. I think a lot of pieces are coming together. It's nice to be here and playing a little bit.

Q. Madelene, what is it like for you to play alongside one of the best to ever play the game and fellow Swede and to be a team together and working together this week?

MADELENE SAGSTROM: In the beginning I was kind of -- I kind of forgot, like, who she is because it's like -- you get to know somebody on a different level, and to me right now she's Annika, but then you stand on the first tee, and they're going up the résumé and you're like, yeah, okay. Okay, you better pull it together here and don't mess up.

No, it's just so much fun. She's still so hot in certain areas. It's so amazing to watch, and just being her partner for this week is just a privilege of mine.

Q. There's a lot of good things going on in this community, and I know your son wants to go play a little more golf. How is that going to work into your schedule?

ANNIKA SORENSTAM: Yeah, I'm going to have a little lunch and a treatment, and then we're heading to this par-3 course just around the corner. They've been very nice to host us.

He is ready. Started warming up over there. Yes, I think it's golf 24/7 in this family. Either I play or I watch or I teach. Who knows? I feel like I'm sleeping golf.

We have the afternoon to kind of get away from our competition and be fresh tomorrow.
