THE MODERATOR: Your thoughts on today's match?

SHUAI ZHANG: Yeah, I think today was great match for both of us. Yeah, Caroline, yeah, is the better one today. We played very close. She make so good serve today, good return. Also, big timing always make to ace.

Yeah, I think, yeah, I'm happy to see I play this level. A lot improve from Nottingham, Birmingham. Yeah, I'm totally, yeah, fine right now. Keep healthy and keep trying my best in doubles.

Q. It's been very friendly at the end of the match. You made her laugh. What did you tell her?

SHUAI ZHANG: Yeah, I said, yeah, she played unbelievable good, and I wish she keep winning until win the tournament, because she's the one I think at tour things from junior grew up the tour and meet her, thinks maybe 10 years ago. Yeah, and her parents were very good friend. So we have very good, long friendship together.

I'm always happy to see she play well. Last two or three years, she's very tough. Also sometimes play not well or sometimes injury. I'm so happy to see her come back to the top level.

Also, her coach is very nice coach. Yeah, I'm just really happy to see, yeah, she come back, yeah.

Q. I have been very impressed from her serve and so many aces. What do you think about the way she was serving today?

SHUAI ZHANG: Yeah, oh, my God. After the match, my coach tell me, like, he feeling I play against some men's player today, yeah (smiling).

Unbelievable good. Does, I think, yeah, big weapon for her. And also, I need improve my serve like Caroline, yeah.

Q. We saw so many surprises in Grand Slam these last years in women's tennis with so many different winners. Do you think Caroline Garcia may be able to win a Grand Slam, to win here?

SHUAI ZHANG: Yeah, of course. Why not? Because last year at US Open I lost to Emma second round. I feel, like, oh, my God, she play so good, and then she won the tournament.

Three years ago I play against Simona here at quarterfinals, and then she won the Wimbledon. And also I played third round Sofia Kenin, Australia Open. She won the tournament.

So so many time, I just tell Caro, so many time, yeah, they beat me, after, they won the tournament. She say, Okay, don't tell me too early. She have to concentrate next match. I say, Okay, I always supporting her, yeah.
