Quick Quotes
Q. Tough conditions today. A lot of sunshine, a lot of rain. How hard was it to keep some momentum out there today?
JORGE CAMPILLO: Well, yeah, and actually as hard as it was, it was tough in the rain, but actually is when I hit the best shots. And then the sun came out, and I hit it great off the tee, I think the best of the three days, but my irons were quite terrible. So got some up and downs, I made some great save putts. So I guess I can be happy with the finish, really.
Q. What is it you've got going into tomorrow? Obviously you probably have some kind of game plan and keep an eye on the leaderboard to see what's happening.
JORGE CAMPILLO: Yeah, I mean, not position that I wanted to be, but as I say before, it was a tough day and I managed to have a decent score. So hopefully tomorrow I can hit the same off the tee, hit the irons like the first two days and putts like today. So that'd be nice. And then I probably have a chance to win.
Q. Very historic tournament with a very rich history with a lot of incredible names behind it. What would it mean to add your name to that?
JORGE CAMPILLO: That'd be great. This is one of the best tournaments of the year, and many people come and watch this. It's really exciting. I always feel like that I have some good finishes on the Irish Open. It would be nice to win, obviously.
Q. It is quite an incredible crowd. I know obviously people like Shane, Seamus, and Pádraig all have an incredible following, but you must feel like you're at a fifth major in a way?
JORGE CAMPILLO: Yeah, definitely. Definitely. As I said, it's one of the best regular tournaments of the year. I remember when I finished third, I think it was 2018, a lot of people came and watched, and I feel like they were supporting me too. And it was a nice feeling.
So hopefully tomorrow I can come out and I can play some good golf.
