Q. Here with Jennifer Kupcho. I know not the round you were looking for today, but you ground it out. Just how proud are you of that fight?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: I wouldn't really say it was a fight. I think it was more of a battle, honestly. Probably the slowest round of golf I've had on a weekend. So really going from playing with Nelly last weekend to a very slow round is pretty hard and a lot of mental toughness for sure.
Q. What do you do to keep your patience in those situations?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: I don't know. I didn't do a very good job today, so I just really try to talk to my caddie and really do other stuff, but, I mean, it's hard because we're out there for so long. Yeah.
Q. Just a couple more. Pin positions today were just unreal. For you as a player, how do you go about attacking when this golf course has those pins in the most precarious positions?
JENNIFER KUPCHO: I think it's hard. For me and my caddie, we used the green books on approaches a lot. Not so much rating the greens. Just approaches.
Not having that, we only have essentially where the five degree slope is, which there's a lot of other slopes that the pin positions were on, if you don't want to be this way of the pin.
So it's hard to know that unless you go out there and really just document every single green in the practice, and that's impossible.
Q. Then just final round of a major, what's the mindset heading into tomorrow? Now you're only five back of In Gee, but still a little far back.
JENNIFER KUPCHO: Definitely far. Just go out there and play my game. I mean, I can't really control anything, honestly, where I'm just here to be here. I'm exhausted. One more day, and then it's an off week.
