Q. Rebecca, congratulations on booking your spot into the quarterfinals, how are you feeling?

REBECCA EARL: Good. I feel like it's been a long day but it feels good to be through.

Q. And you were up from the get-go. How were able to keep that momentum going?

REBECCA EARL: I think just kind of like steady, hitting fairways, hitting greens. It was really tough with the wind out there. So just waiting for my playing partners to make more mistakes really.

Q. I saw you had a great eagle on 11 to go 4-up. Talk us through that happened?

REBECCA EARL: It was playing downwind today, so it was actually kind of short. I hit driver and had like a 50-degree in to about six feet and then holed a putt. It was good.

Q. And you had a tight match this morning going down the 19th. How are you feeling playing that?

REBECCA EARL: It was a bit stressful because I was actually a few up going down 17 and 18. I lost both holes. I knew that I just had to keep plodding around and stuff and I holed a good one on the first to get birdie on 19, so yeah.

Q. Have you got many people with you here supporting you?

REBECCA EARL: My caddie, actually, she's from the university just graduated from. She's been here with me this week and then just my junior organiser from Bishop's Stortford. I've got a few supporters but it's been nice.

Q. And going into tomorrow's quarterfinals, have you got a game plan?

REBECCA EARL: Not really. Just keep it steady, really, and just like try and hit fairways, hit greens. Like it's pretty tough out there with the wind and stuff, so if that gets up, just kind of steady plodding, really.
