Quick Quotes
Q. Congratulations on booking your spot into the quarterfinals of the R&A Amateur. How are you feeling?
LOUISE RYDQVIST: I feel great. I feel absolutely great. It was tough out there in the afternoon. It was fun playing with Ingrid, she's a teammate of mine. We know each other pretty well. I see her around in the US, too, since we play college golf both of us. We're pretty close, I would say.
Q. And you knocked out Ingrid being the highest-ranked player in the field this week. How does that feel?
LOUISE RYDQVIST: It feels good. Ingrid is Ingrid to me. She's like the person, as well. I mean, she's absolutely a great golfer which everybody knows. And of course it feels good to beat her out there, but as I said she's a friend of mine. We had fun out there, yeah.
Q. And you were 4-up at the turn. Did you start to feel the pressure when Ingrid started getting a few holes back on you?
LOUISE RYDQVIST: Yeah, sure, absolutely. I made a few bogeys on the turn and that cost a little, but managed to make a birdie on the last to make it to the quarterfinals tomorrow.
Q. You had a tight match this morning going down 19. How were you feeling?
LOUISE RYDQVIST: That was very, very -- a lot of nerves. I mean, of course I wanted to make it here. I wanted to play, and it was a thrilling feeling to actually get through that and make it and actually be here and be able to play tomorrow.
Q. How do you feel about the live broadcast happening tomorrow?
LOUISE RYDQVIST: It's exciting. I've never really been on a live broadcast before, so it will be a new experience, and I guess it will be a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to it.
Q. And going into tomorrow, do you have a game plan or will it be pretty much the same?
LOUISE RYDQVIST: I'm going to stay to my game plan. I'm just going to go to the range and hit a few balls right now and then go to bed and feel rested tomorrow. It's a long day.
