Quick Quotes
Q. You must be pleased with your performance this morning?
KELSEY BENNETT: Yeah, pretty happy with it.
Q. What was the key to that victory?
KELSEY BENNETT: After the first eight holes I was 3-over and I managed to make an eagle, nearly an albatross, a couple of inches. Nice to have some birdies and an eagle and managed to get myself back on track and get the win. That was on 9. I hit a good drive down the left and had 185 metres, so I hit 6-iron and it bounced up. Had a good kick and rolled all the a warn, sat just behind the cup a couple inches.
Q. How do you feel you've built on your stroke-play performance with that effort today?
KELSEY BENNETT: I struggled a bit yesterday with the stroke play and obviously it showed a bit in the morning but I managed to get it back together. So it was good to hit some good shots.
Q. How do you find it? It's like Australia out here anyway?
KELSEY BENNETT: It's very warm, very linksy. Got to watch the wind pockets but other than that it's pretty.
Q. Have you played in this before?
KELSEY BENNETT: My first time this year. My first time in the U.K.
Q. One of your countrymen just got through on the mark, Abbie and she said that you guys had been affected pretty badly with COVID and how much you could travel. Nice to be back out?
KELSEY BENNETT: It is, very grateful to be able to travel again, that's for sure.
It's great to see the European side of things because I haven't had a chance to meet these sort of girls and college. It's a privilege to be able to play alongside them.
Q. What would it mean to you to keep knocking off the wins and lift the trophy?
KELSEY BENNETT: It would be unbelievable. I have my nan, Betsy, here with me and it would be very special, here from Australia this week.
