EMILIE PALTRINIERI: Yeah, I am very happy. I'm happy with my attitude on the course. I was pretty calm and steady throughout the 36 holes. So I'm very happy.

Q. You finished at the top of the leaderboard. You'll be seeded No. 2, which means you won't get the top qualifier curse, so that's a perfect score.

EMILIE PALTRINIERI: Okay, yeah, that's perfect. Is it because I finished later?

Q. Better round today, 7-under from the other ladies. So, but, yeah, tell us how satisfying it is. You've been in good form, and to finish at the top must be really pleasing.

EMILIE PALTRINIERI: Yeah, it is. My short game was amazing. I made some very long putts, which I'm happy about. And tomorrow, I mean, it's a new tournament starting tomorrow. It's match play, so it will be fun.

Q. Do you enjoy playing match play?

EMILIE PALTRINIERI: Yeah, I love match play. I think it's fun. You can take a few aggressive lines, and you never know until the end. So I'm excited.

Q. Two rounds of 4-under. Do you think it will be enough in match play? It's pretty consistent golf.

EMILIE PALTRINIERI: Yeah, I mean, it's -- I think 4-under wouldn't be a bad start, but obviously we'll see based on the conditions, too, and on the wind.

Q. How much have you enjoyed playing here at Hunstanton on a couple of lovely sunny days?

EMILIE PALTRINIERI: Yeah, I'm clearly overdressed. I've been sweating all day because it wasn't expected. But I've -- the sun is never bad. So I've been enjoying it a lot. It's a beautiful course.

Q. You R&A Girls' Amateur. What would it mean to you to make a double and win the R&A Women's Amateur this week?

EMILIE PALTRINIERI: I mean, it would be pretty amazing. Obviously the tournament is still very long. So just think about my match tomorrow morning, and then we'll see from there.
