Q. Great round, 3-under par today. You obviously enjoyed the weather and the sunshine out there?

CHARLOTTE BACK: Yes, definitely. It's getting really warm right now, so I enjoyed it.

Q. Takes you to minus four and comfortably into the match-play stages. You must be pleased with that outcome?

CHARLOTTE BACK: Yeah, definitely. When I first came here, I looked at the course and thought it was pretty tough. Now the wind is pretty good. So it plays a little easier and it's nice to have a safe place in the match play right now.

Q. What's been the key for you to produce that score?

CHARLOTTE BACK: I think playing solid, like hitting many fairways, hitting many greens and just two putts and take the par and go to the next hole.

Q. And you mentioned to me it's your first time in this championship. How much are you enjoying that experience of just being here?

CHARLOTTE BACK: So far, I really enjoy it. Like it's been one of the biggest events in my calendar and I really like being here.

Q. Have you played much links golf at all, this type of seaside golf?

CHARLOTTE BACK: Not really. I think it's my third time right now, but I like it.

Q. What are the other two links courses that you've played? Can you remember?

CHARLOTTE BACK: I remember one, I played St Andrews, the Eden Course. It was nice. I didn't play good there but I really enjoy this course right here.

Q. And is this form a continuation of what you've been doing so far this year or not?

CHARLOTTE BACK: Yeah, I think so. I've been playing really good the last couple of weeks, and I had some lower scores around par as well. So it's nice to play under par here as well.

Q. What's the strategy now as you go into the knock out stage?

CHARLOTTE BACK: I don't think I'll change my strategy. I'll just play like I did the last two days, make a lot of pars and maybe some birdies drop.

Q. What would it mean to be the No. 1 at the end of this week and lift the trophy?

CHARLOTTE BACK: Oh, that's like the biggest goal. We all come here to win, and sometimes it happens, sometimes not. So it would be nice. I really enjoy it.
