Q. Just first of all, thoughts on your performance today?

ANNABELL FULLER: I mean, I played just pretty steady, like nothing crazy. I didn't really go attacking any pins or try to hole any crazy putts because I just don't feel like there was a need to because of the wind, it was playing quite tricky.

When we first started it was really windy, and it kind of got less and less towards the end of the round but still quite windy, so kind of a safe, kind of easy round.

Q. There were two birdies after the double bogey on back nine, just talk us through them.

ANNABELL FULLER: The par 5, yeah, I hit the green in two and then 2-putted. I almost made eagle on there. Left it like an inch short, right on line. But just kind of paced it up there.

Then the next hole hit a little wedge shot in to an inch and tapped it in for birdie.

Q. You were runner-up in 2020, and you have that experience of going the whole distance. How do you kind of prepare and then plan for the kind of the week ahead?

ANNABELL FULLER: I think you just kind of have to take it as it comes. Each round is a different match, like not think too far ahead. For example, like just thinking about these two rounds and getting through this and if you get through the first round, second round, so forth.

Q. Are you feeling confident about making it to the last stages of the championship?

ANNABELL FULLER: I mean, you always come here with the intention of that, so hopefully, but I'm kind of taking it easy and see how it goes.
