Q. First of all, how do you feel after today's performance? Are you happy?

ROISIN SCANLON: Yeah, I was kind of surprised the way I played. I went expecting a round like that today.

Q. Three birdies on that opening nine holes, what was it that made those birdies special in any way?

ROISIN SCANLON: I was just holing a lot of putts and getting close to the pin, I think was key.

Q. And the weather conditions have calmed a wee bit; did that play in your favour?

ROISIN SCANLON: Yeah, I think it was windy for the front nine and then as you got to the back nine it died down, so it was very helpful.

Q. And in looking forward to the sort of match-play stages, are you feeling confident? Does a round like that give you confidence going into those stages?

ROISIN SCANLON: Obviously there are some players that got to come this year but couldn't do it last year because of, like, travelling, and so I was a bit nervous. But I'm feeling for confident in my round.
