Q. You must be chuffed with that; you played really solid.

LUCY JAMIESON: Really happy. Played nicely. Played really well. Fretted a few shots on the front nine but got it going, got it together.

Q. Was that one of the highlights then for you?

LUCY JAMIESON: I had a lot of lovely putts I think today. Sort of those crucial, either to keep a par or for the birdie but yeah, played nicely. Struck the ball well and putted nicely.

Q. Is it a place you know at all?

LUCY JAMIESON: No. First time playing. I had a practise round yesterday. But first time being here.

Q. I guess it was windy earlier. Did it start to drop a lot?

LUCY JAMIESON: It was still a good two-club wind on 16 so it's only just starting to drop but we were lucky, I played a late practise round yesterday afternoon and it was the same wind direction, I would say it's prevailing opposite, so that was handy.

Q. What's your best effort in this competition?

LUCY JAMIESON: I played it the first time last year. I got knocked out the first found of the match play.

Q. Is that the goal, just to get to the match play and go further than last year?

LUCY JAMIESON: Yeah, let's just say get through to the match play and anything can happen from there.

Q. How nice is it to see a strong field back, flags up, everybody smiling and happy, sun's out?

LUCY JAMIESON: It's just lovely to feel like there's some normality in the world again and people can travel and seeing all sort of international players coming back, it's good. Strong field.
