Q. Just overall, what do you make of the venue, the course setup and being at TCC this week?

PHIL MICKELSON: It was spectacular to come back to such a historic course, and I thought the setup was remarkable. Just really showcased what a special place this is.

Q. You got a pretty warm reception from the fans out there. What do you make of that? Were you expecting it?

PHIL MICKELSON: The fans here have always been terrific, and they really support all sports, and I love it when we bring golf here because they create a really special atmosphere.

Q. Do you feel like you played a little better today?

PHIL MICKELSON: It was okay. I had a good day.

Q. Did you miss this, the fans being inside the ropes at a big event like this?

PHIL MICKELSON: I missed competing, but I also enjoyed some time away.

Q. Is this a difficult -- more difficult on the golf course or just getting to the golf course --

PHIL MICKELSON: I don't know. I enjoyed the week. Wish I had played better.
