Quick Quotes
Q. I guess you did the hard work yesterday and then finished it off today. Is that a fair reflection
BARCLAY BROWN: Yeah, yesterday was a grind. Didn't play all that great but made a load of up-and-downs. Played really well yesterday. Yeah, a little easier coming out here today, fortunately played well again.
Q. Seems to be the type of course you can score well on if you put the ball in the right position?
BARCLAY BROWN: Yeah, I think the rough is not too bad if you miss on the right sides. But the drives, if you are going to miss, then you kind of get away with it. So the greens are pretty flat, so you can hole some putts, definitely a chance to score well.
Q. What are your experience of both of these venues? You've played Lytham Trophy, haven't you?
BARCLAY BROWN: I played Lytham Trophy once a few years ago. I had not played here before the practise round but obviously great venues and great courses. Lytham is unbelievable.
Q. How is the form overall been the last few months?
BARCLAY BROWN: It's been solid. Struggled at NCAAs early June, end of May but played well a couple weeks before that. Just trying to keep it solid.
Q. What's the philosophy for tomorrow?
BARCLAY BROWN: I don't know, really. We'll have to say. I'm going to hit some balls and see what I'm working with golf swing-wise and then I'll decide.
Q. What's your best effort in the Lytham Trophy?
BARCLAY BROWN: I only played once a couple years ago. Got to quarterfinals.
Q. You didn't play here last year?
BARCLAY BROWN: No, I had just come back from the States and that was still a ten-day quarantine. Couldn't make it work unfortunately.
Q. But your match-play record given Walker Cup, you must feel quite, when it's head-to-head, you must feel quite confident in that situation?
BARCLAY BROWN: Yeah, I think I've played enough that I can be confident in my game. I know what I'm good at.
