Boston Celtics
Practice Day
Q. How is your body handling the travel across the country?
PAYTON PRITCHARD: It's good. I think everybody is probably a little tired. It's a lot of traveling. You're playing high-level games. But at this point you have to give it all anyways.
Q. After four games with it being 2-2, what's the vibe in the locker room, the mindset going forward for the final two or three games?
PAYTON PRITCHARD: Try to fix the things that we need to work on. But at this point, it's a best of three series and first to win two. So now the first four games don't even matter. Just the last three.
Q. What's the intensity level of the Finals compared to the series with Miami and Milwaukee?
PAYTON PRITCHARD: They are similar. Obviously, you're trying to make it to the championship and be here. But now we see an end, and we are just trying to do whatever we can to finish this out on top.
Q. Have you noticed how disciplined they are when they are down? It seems like they don't panic, and they make adjustments.
PAYTON PRITCHARD: Definitely, and I think that's something we can learn from, us being a younger team. Their championship experience shows when they don't get rattled. I think that's something we can take from them.
These next couple games will be a big growth step for us, to see how we handle it.
Q. You're 7-0 after losses in the postseason. Why do you think you're so good after losses and so good on the road?
PAYTON PRITCHARD: We just hope to continue that, but I think we lock in more. Try to lock in to our adjustments and we find ways to not make it happen again.
Q. When you look at this Warriors team and trying to at least slow down Steph Curry, how do you go about that?
PAYTON PRITCHARD: It's a hard task. He's one of the greatest players to ever play this game. He's going to make plays and he's going to be great, but we have to make things tough and tough for guys around him. We’ve shown we’re capable of winning games in different ways, so we'll figure out a way.
Q. What's the mindset of the team now?
PAYTON PRITCHARD: It's good. We are excited for the challenge ahead, come here and get a W on their home court. We know we have to win at least one game on their home court, so come out and try to get it done tomorrow.
