Q. Here with Jodi Ewart Shadoff coming off her second round at the ShopRite LPGA Classic presented by Acer.
You had a really good year here last year; tied for 7th. What did you learn from last year that you carried into this year? You're now at 6-under.
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, you know, I typically play pretty good around here. I think it definitely suits a good ball-striker, so I'm definitely striking the ball really well right now.
I really like being here. I like the golf course. It just suits me really well.
Q. And you've just been playing really consistent golf. I just said I've seen you in the tent a couple times in the last few weeks. What are you really liking about your game right now?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, I'm striking the ball really consistently. I put a lot of work into my putting, especially my speed putting and tempo, and I think all the work is really starting to pay off, starting to see more putts drop.
I think that's really just been the key in the last couple weeks.
Q. Are you liking that ShopRite is sort a shorter course and shorter couple days?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Definitely like it being a shorter weekend, so, yeah. I mean, I hit the ball decently long but I'm not like super long on tour, so I think I put a lot of work in last week on wedges because I knew that we have a lot of wedges out here and it was going to be key this week, so I'm starting to see that pay off, too. I'm hitting a lot of wedges pretty close.
Q. Just what were conditions like today? How did they compare to yesterday?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah, obviously teeing off in the morning it wasn't as windy, so definitely had to take advantage of that.
Yesterday afternoon was -- it was firm and fast and quite windy, so I think the greens were kind of more receptive this morning.
So that definitely helped hitting some shots a little bit closer, having a couple more opportunities for birdie.
Q. And just what's the mindset to play well tomorrow? No matter how it shakes out this afternoon, it's probably going to be a crowded leaderboard.
JODI EWART SHADOFF: Yeah.
Q. What kind of approach do you have to take going into tomorrow basically?
JODI EWART SHADOFF: I think just play my own game, just taking it one shot at a time. Obviously I'm striking the ball really and take advantage of the opportunities, and so be it.
But just try to stay in the moment and just play my own game.
