SARAH INGRAM: She's been playing a lot of golf, and you can't always be on. I think she was not her usual self in the morning, and I'm sure she was a little frustrated, but she and Rachel Heck I think fought really hard, and they both got their games together after I think whatever, the fourth or fifth hole. I'm not sure where it started turning.
They're playing well, and I could have put them out. I just think it's --
Q. You don't have to.
SARAH INGRAM: Well, it's not that -- yeah, I don't have to, I guess I should say. But also just to rest them and give others an opportunity to play.
I think they'll play better for the next match or two, depending on what happens. Don't want to reveal anything.
Q. I'm assuming you're telling your ladies tonight that you've got a long way to go, there's a lot of points out there, not to be overconfident. Is that a fair assessment?
SARAH INGRAM: I think that's a very fair assessment. Yeah, but I want to keep -- I want them to keep pressing and playing well and being serious and playing the best golf they can.
Q. Could you have imagined 24 hours ago a better scenario than pretty much what you got?
SARAH INGRAM: No. I mean, I was hoping for that, but I'm very happy about it. After last year we were down after the first day, and I was pretty concerned. Definitely in a better position today, or we are definitely better position today than we were last year at the same time.
Q. I guess at the same time you can tell the ladies that last year they were in the position you guys are in, and you guys won.
SARAH INGRAM: That's correct. Anything can happen. That's match play. They want to play well. They want to be in it. So they're going to be fighting hard.
Momentum can swing the other way for sure. Who knows; we'll see what happens.
