THE MODERATOR: Questions in French.
Q. What was the bottom line actually for that match, what made the difference, was it physical?
RICHARD GASQUET: Well it was not really physical, I think it was, you know, at a tennis level he really hit the ball level and my crosscourt backhand didn't disturb him too much because he's got a great backhand, he's got a great forehand, he serves all the serves well, he plays great tennis.
So it's not physical at all, he was just stronger than I was and he probably got a little bit lucky in the tiebreaker and maybe I could have put him under more pressure, but I think he was just a better player today.
Q. Will we see you again next year?
RICHARD GASQUET: Yeah, well, I hope so. I'll do my best to be there next year. I'm not sure about that, but we never know what can happen in tennis. But I really feel like playing and I've won quite a few matches this year since the beginning of the season and I'm still in the top 100 so I'll try and keep playing until the end.
Q. Can you tell us a little bit more about the end of Jo's career. Yesterday we saw you on court, did you get news about the doubles because he wanted to play?
RICHARD GASQUET: I haven't talked to him since yesterday, but he looked injured and apparently it hurts, so I think it's going to be tough. I need to call him and we'll see, but it's going to be hard.
But it was a great moment with all the messages from Federer and Nadal and Djokovic, Murray, I think the Federation did things well, I think it was a great moment.
And it was a very nice last match and that was the most important thing and there were a lot of people in the crowd and I think it was a really nice end of a match and there were a lot of people, he had a standing ovation, so I think it was a great moment.
Q. So Roland Garros is not over yet because you're going to work for France Television, can you tell us a little bit more about that or do you know anything about that?
RICHARD GASQUET: Well, you know, I'm really focused on my tournament, but I really like commenting on matches, so I'm really interested in how one can comment during matches.
So it's an experience, I take it as an experience, I'll see how it goes and I would like to see how it works and, you know, it doesn't stop me from practicing and/or preparing for other tournaments, but we'll see how it goes on TV or on air and, you know, I still enjoy watching tennis, so it will be a pleasure for me to do that.
