Q. What happened there in the third quarter when they outscored you guys by nine points?

JALEN BRUNSON: They outscored us by nine points. They're a third quarter team. I said that last time. That's when they take off.

Q. How do you guys correct the rebounding deficit that seems to be happening in almost every game?

JALEN BRUNSON: Yeah, we've just got to stay connected to bodies, not get outrebound. We've just got to be able to fight, plain and simple. It's just a minor adjustment that we can fix, but we've just got to be committed to it.

Q. How significant do you think their championship experience is?

JALEN BRUNSON: I mean, it's very evident. They just stay connected throughout the entire game, whether they're down 20 or up 20. They just stay connected. You can see that. Yeah, it's just very evident.

Q. Down 3-0, we all know how tough that is. What's the attitude right now for you guys, and how do you --

JALEN BRUNSON: One game at a time, plain and simple. That's all we have, one game at a time.

Q. What do you got to change, not just on X's and O's, but what's got to change in terms of how you're playing?

JALEN BRUNSON: We've just got to pick it up third quarter, fix our rebounding. When things get tough, you've got to stick together. That's something that we've been able to do all year, so we've just got to stick together. I know it's tough. I know the situation we're in is tough, but we've got to play one game at a time, one possession at a time and really just focus.

Q. Jason talked about how regardless of how the series does or doesn't unfold that this is a really good building block for the core and the franchise going forward. What do you think you've learned on a game to game basis, not so much in scheme but just about playing on this level and this stage here?

JALEN BRUNSON: I mean, one thing we understood or understand is that it takes all of us, from the guys playing, from the guys on the bench, it truly takes all of us. It's been something memorable. The guys that I've been playing with, the guys that are on this team, it's special. The fact that we're going through this, right now it sucks. We've really got to keep fighting. But it's only going to make us better.
