Q. What went well and what was more difficult?

ABRAHAM ANCER: Yeah, pretty solid. I can't really complain too much. Yes, I definitely would like to go lower than 1-under, but it's still a golf course that you have to be in the right position, even though I think we got very fortunate with the wind this afternoon.

It was windy at the beginning and then it kind of died down, but it was swirling, so it made it a little bit tricky. Also the greens got a little bit bumpy, so it was tough to make putts. It was still a really nice grind out there. I enjoyed it. Enjoyed the fight, and yeah, in a good position for the weekend.

Q. People were doing calculations with the wind that it's going to be one day the other way; at the end of the day the wind is always there and you have to deal with it and change your strategy depending on it, no?

ABRAHAM ANCER: Yeah, a hundred percent. It was definitely a little tricky because the winds that we were usually playing with, with the strong wind, it was not the same direction, so we had to play maybe some longer clubs whenever it used to be downwind or the other way around, so it was tricky seeing the hole with a different wind.

Yeah, it was still a little tricky. Like I said, it was swirly, tough to make putts out there, as well, but like I say, happy with my results so far. I'm in good striking distance, so got to take advantage on the weekend.

Q. We were talking yesterday with Joaco about how nice it is to see a Chilean flag, a Mexican flag in the top 10 and still kind of the same today. How do you feel about that?

ABRAHAM ANCER: Yeah, it's really nice to see my friends play such great golf. I know Mito is playing -- he was playing some really good golf. I saw him in a couple holes out there where we crossed paths and we were high fiving each other, pumping each other up.

So it's always nice to have some Latinos play some solid golf in majors for sure.
